Configure Database Mail

In Object Explorer, expand the node for the instance you want to configure Database mail.

Expand the Management node.

Right-click Database Mail, and then click Configure Database Mail.

Welcome Page : click on next

Select Configuration Task Page click on next

write the profile name then click on add

fill up the detail as per need and then click on next . Use smpt.gmail.com as server name.Which is google’s smtp server.

now athakur@kminfosystem .com account is associated with profile abhishek

Click on next

click on next

Then click on finish

click on close

how to add the another account with the same profile

Expand the Management node.

Right-click Database Mail, and then click Configure Database Mail. Click on

select view …account associated with the profile

click on add and select the account you want to add

click on next

click on next

Click on next wait for a min then click on close

for test now here is soumyadas account is associated with profile abhishek

==> Steps to check db-mail working or not=>click on management==> Database mail=>Send Test E- Mail

==>dialogue box appeared on screen fill the need full info then ==>  Send Test E- Mail

==>Now check your E-Mail.
